How long does the trade-in process take?
Once you submit your machine details, we typically respond with an estimate quickly. From there, the timeline depends on when you're ready to purchase; we can move as fast or as deliberately as works for you.
Can I trade in and finance my new purchase at the same time?
Yes. Your trade-in credit reduces the amount you need to finance, and you can combine it with a lease or financing plan for the remainder. Ask about this when you request your estimate.
What if my machine is old or not working?
Bring it in anyway. Age and working condition affect the estimate, but they don't automatically disqualify a trade-in. Even older or non-functional machines can sometimes still have value.
Is there a current HP Cash-In Trade-Up promotion I can combine with this?
HP periodically runs its own manufacturer promotion, separate from SBR's trade-in program, offering cash back on qualifying new HP purchases. Ask our team when you request your estimate — we can let you know what's currently running and how it fits alongside your trade-in.
Is SBR's trade-in program the same as HP's Cash In & Trade Up promotion?
No. They're two different things. SBR's trade-in program is our own offer: bring us your current machine, any brand, any age, and we apply real credit toward a new HP purchase. HP's Cash In & Trade Up is a separate, time-limited manufacturer rebate on top of that. Ask us about current HP promotions when you request your estimate.
Do I need to know already which new printer I want before requesting a trade-in estimate?
